The secret to AdSense is the same as the secret to any other online ecommerce which is to build a site that attracts people in a spending mood.

Think about why people might need to spend money, why they might need help finding the right place to spend it, and then help them spend it!

Good candidates for AdSense would be travel sites, home remodel or repair sites, sites about consumer electronics, etc.

The BEST way ever is to build a NICHE site, something very specific and very targeted so you get the best NICHE ads as well.

For instance, you could build a site just about counter top appliance grills such as the Foreman Grill, the Cuisenart Griller, etc. and keep up on all the current models. Slap in the AdSense plus some affiliate links from the images in the articles and make out like a bandit.

Heck, you could actually buy each and every grill so you get to review the thing for real with your own digital images of the gear and hands on experience. When you're done, then resell them on eBay or donate them to Goodwill or the Salvation army as a tax deduction and it's a business expense to boot!

The opportunities are endless because GOOD content and LOTS OF IT sells.

A good site with regular traffic is the first criteria for earning money online, if you don't have that adsense won't do much for you.

Adsense is best option to earn money by blogs

My earnings are pretty low but, it's good to make money doing something you enjoy. I've seen a small, yet steady increase in earnings, so I'd have to say AdSense is a good option. Just need some patience and some work ethic and you can bring the money in without too much effort =)

Not for me. In about 5 months I have made $3.33

I don't really make very much from adsense but it should just about cover my hosting costs over the course of a year I think.

As said about 10 times in this thread, the key is traffic. I don't have a huge amount and therefore my earnings are quite low even though I think I have a niche with one of my sites.

Obviously if you have a site with thousands of unique viewers per day I think some good money can be made.

It's all about presentation and effort. I haven't made much either but I have about $7 made since starting last week and over 800 views. Keep at it and experiment.

I just wish I knew about Adsense sooner. I had a site a couple of years ago which consisted of a very busy message board, I think I could have made a bit from adsense on there. Sadly the forum is no more

I'm sure you can start something up again. You probably kept in contact with some of the forum members so gaining a new member base shouldn't be too hard!

It is if you use it properly it can be your best friend. I know of people who own big sites and earn over $900,000 per month in Adsense. A lot of people stick ads on there site and expect the money to roll in!
