You need to display your ads correctly. Change them (if you havn't already) to blend into your site, make then look less like ads by removing the border and having the background the same as the background the ad is on. Also the 'large rectangle' is said to be the best ad unit for clicks, try wraping your content arround your ads and keeping them above the fold.

I started from 10 cents a day to more than a dollar a day. It's hard to get click on adsense but I never gave up. May be we all should keep on trying because if we work hard at it we can increase the adsense revenue.

I have even seen people making 10 dollar a month before and now they are making thousands per month.

I'm getting about $70-120/month mainly from my 3 biggest sites (tutorial site, arcade site, messenger site)
The CTR on the arcade and messenger site is crazy, but really REALLY bad payout.. Im lucky if i get $2.5 for 100 clicks. As for the tutorial site, which dont get that much traffic anymore, I can get up to $1 per click.

So for most of my sites, adsense doesn't seem to be paying off that well. It depends on what kind of content you're serving.

2,2,3 actually. But PR doesn't matter as far as I know.

It has been more and more difficult nowadays to make some serious money with adsense. Google pays without for clicks.It also calculates on your niche. Some websites such as gaming websites or myspace pertained websites are not deserving it with adsense. You'll be favorable to get a penny per click on such websites.

Adsense is good because you can get extra income but I think there is/are other methods where you can get much higher earnings than in adsense.

it's essentially the online time I make money on my forum, so yes it's appeal it. I don't earn much but it helps a bit.

My earnings are pretty low but, it's good to make money doing something you enjoy. I've seen a small, yet steady increase in earnings, so I'd have to say AdSense is a good option. Just need some patience and some work ethic and you can bring the money in without too much effort =)
