I want set up a web site,but I don't know which kind site is a better choice.
which kind site can earn more in Google Adsense ?
I just wonder! trip site ,news site ,cellphone site.....?

A tough question to answer but Personally I would do some research on your sites "keywords" ..do things like check out "overture" http://inventory.overture.com/d/sear...ry/suggestion/ (to see how many time your keyword was searched last month) and https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal
and this link http://www.rumler.com/google/adsense...g-keywords.php there are more resources to use but I gave you the ones that I use regularly or recently
Personally I try to find "Niche Keywords" , then I check out the top ten in the major search engines for that "keyword(s)", analyse the top ten sites (what makes them special, the age etc) and try to adapt some of the things that puts them in the top ten to my website/blog..
but to try to help you out (1) a trip site...where? is it a popular destination, how heavy is the competition
(2)news site...most high ranking news related site that I have seen haev "RSS" from the major newsites like "AP" (RSS gives then regular and updated content) and specialize in certain keywords like sports etc
(3)Cellphone site?...free tones downloads? a info site? any particular brand, are you going to sell "cellphones"?
Thing is it hard to be of help without more info but personally I think it is your site, (your baby) and source of income so best thing to do is research, research and more research
Personally, I think "Adsense" is already a great topic to discuss and earn money with.
Just my opinion..but last time I looked for "making money with Google Adsense" there was 1.5 million sites listed (in my Google database) that not including the site that aren't ranked or indexed...seems to me..all you have to do is go to Googles adsense optimization https://www.google.com/adsense/suppo...page=tips.html http://www.google.com/services/adsense_webinar.html http://adsense.blogspot.com/?utm_sou...fe&medium=link reword the content and make it more personal.you have a website or even a ebook...People that write about how they got rich from adsense, make me wonder if they are getting so rich.why are they sharing the "map to the goldmine"?

Nice resources, Bryguy. But, I personally think tech related sites never prosper with adsense. The more tech-savvy traffic you get is inversely proportional to your CTR. And, I think the news site would be great. But, I'm a cellphone maniac. So start one on it.
But, be sure that you love what you're doing. Don't do something because "you have to". I've had personal experience starting my site on Free Comic Books. I do have it right now. But, I'm not much interested in it.

I'd think Rx/Medical sites or some sites that do reviews of new gadgets.
The advertisers in those categories would probably pay a lot per click.

None of my sites are "tech related" but did read somewhere (I think google blog, but not in my favorites so I can't supply it rigth now ) that tech site "explaining" ( ex..how to use a cellphone") make less CTR than site "reviewing" (ex top 3 cellphones of 2006")
