Has anyone else had this happen? I checked the adsense statistics and it showed 2 searches and 3 clicks. I am surmising that someone hit there back button on the browser and click on a second ad. But I am not sure. I don't believe this will have any impact on my account though it is just a peculiar day hehe.

i think you can relax . 2 search and 3 click . your search count is too low

I'm thinking back button too. Or maybe someone clicked to open the link in a new tab and then came back. It is kind of odd though to get 3 clicks from 2 page views.

I get this kind of thing a lot, and not just from adsense but from plenty of affiliate ads.

It can happen if the user clicks the link before the tracking image is loaded.

I often get funny stats from google, numbers that are just one or two out

I've also learned to use google's numbers as estimates. For example, I may receive say 5 emails from my website, and google can track 4 but not the 5th. May be due to a user without javascript enabled or installed, but you can never count on the numbers 100%
