ok try this from expereince, make the Google ads link title to be the same color as the color of the navigation links on top (Europe, Middle-East, etc.) and that should help somewhat.

thanks sunnex - I changed to colours to make everything blend in more, have mixed feeling about it - with smartpricing, fooling people to click on ads is not going to help much, however it does make the site look better so we will see.
Because I use mambo for the site making changes is very easy to its easy to experiment

Mark, sadly, I think a big part of the AdSense equation is fooling people into clicking because they think the link is something other than an ad.

That's why you see so many people using AdSense in places typically reserved for navigation. it's also why blending the ads works.

Steven - you may well be right, anyway I have tried it, so see what happens over the next few weeks, I read somewhere that smartpricing is updated every week or so, so bad results can be reversed I would have thought.
