What adsense format works best on blogs??

Basically the only way to know what Google ads will work best on your site is to experiment. There are a few good general guidelines recommended by Google:

1. Top and left side ad placements perform better than right and bottom placements
2. Ads should have the same background color as the main content and same text color and style as the content
3. Good content is everything - your ads will compliment what you have on your page

For me: a large rectangle above the first post and a vertical ad unit in the sidebar (at the first position)

To me, both large leaderboard or skyscraper will perform ther best and generate the most revenue for me.
