Can anybody make a living with adsense?

Yes you can make a living and many people are doing it. Although saying this, I mean that you can make $1,000 a week, but it is not a reliable income so you should entirely depend on it althogether.

I think this is the key, you put a lot of effort in, make a decent amount of money, but never can rely on the income, beginning to wonder if its worth it

At least Google and some of the employees for adsense should be making there living.

The thing is I can rely on my income because I have my eggs on more than one basket. Many people don't do this. They have 1 site and earn way of earning. I have 4 sites, which I will be cutting it down to 2 most probably eventually, but I also have quite a few different revenues coming in from various places.

You can make a living from it, but at the moment i cant!

Of course you can, but as said before, its better to rely on many affiliate systems rather than only google Adsense

Why not? There are many people earning thousands of dollars each month.
(But I am not one of them currently).

i heard that adsense makes not only living but makes many people rich

One of my best friends, Thilak of Tech-Buzz makes a living out of it. Same goes for Darren Rowse, John Chow, Amit Agarwal etc. But of course Adsense is not their only source because what if Google bans them ? How're they going to make a living ?

The point is, it is possible to make a living from the money you get from Adsense but its not safe to rely on it.

wow...For one thing there is a lot more things on the internet then "adsense" to make money online..Not to mention Clickback Yahoo and many other affilate programs. You can sell links just by getting a site PR. You can provide people a game or banner exchange if adsense isn't making you 1,000$ a week. Then you can't life off it yet.

It's babysteps always will be.

This is the correct attitude to have sir.

BUT. Something is wrong if you are not earning what you expect. I mean, target more expensive keywords you can do this by searching keywords on Adwords cost.

Also make sure all of your keywords are highly searched so that you get more traffic. High paying High Traffic keywords or keyphrases are what you would like. Increase your knowledge Increase your income. That is how this internet thing works out.

well it depends on what you think making a living is. Is it $2000 a month or $15000 a month. If you're happy with a measly $2k in extra income per month, then it is possible to generate that kind of cash with adsense, I have done it.

You just have to make sure you pick keywords that generate more money per click, then create your pages based on those keyterms, use some old fashioned SEO tricks, and get some domain names that fit with keywords, and have someone write articles on the correct topics, and build your site.

If you build eth they will come.

Yea well I don't personally go giving out the ideas I use, just a general basis so someone can get started. Can't be giving away to much information
