Hello everyone. Newbie here.
Can someone tell me, that we can copy the ebook content into site content ?
I mean, just "copy paste" them.
Is it ilegal ?

Does the ebook author know this ?

Thank you for your reply.

If the author - or publisher - has given you permission it's legal. If you're wondering whether they'll know, then you don't want to do it.

How would that change anything?

If you're taking very small quotes from the book to discuss them, like a debate about what parts are right and which aren't, you might be able to get away under the fair use doctrine, although commercial use is harder to justify. But the person who wrote something owns it, and its copyright. Republishing their work is what's illegal, not the way you do it.

It's not stealing per se, and they won't haul you off to jail, but tools like copyscape make it a lot easier to find plagiarism, and those tend to be easy lawsuits to win.

How much do you want to include?
