Try adding an ad at the top right. When people
move their mouse to the top right to close the
page, some will notice the ad and click on it.

Small tip that will increase your Adsense revenue...

Keep adding unique and useful content, that's
what the big earners do.

Very often they post articles or blog posts 4 or 5
times a day. Be consistent in that. You'll see results
in the long term.

Don't expect results overnight. It takes time.

Since starting this post. My traffic has gone up consitently. If you could see my analytics chart it's just a uphill mountain... Everyday has been increasing and so has my adsense.

Traffic is moving up for me. So thats a good thing. But its going to take time to do. Im just going to keep adding content, and hopefully users will see that the site is actually useful.

But yes, the CPM is very low. It's a learning process for me so ill just keep on at it.

Right ad placements.

Firstly you can either have the leaderboard beneath your logo or if you are writing an article, place the heading of your article then directly center below it implement a 336 x 280, then write your content and finish it off with anothe leaderboard or small one at the end of your article.

Colour

Now this depends on your site, have the same background and border colour as your sites background colour, have the hyper links in yellow and the text in red as this does attract visitors.

Edges

Always have your your edges the same as your site, for example look at his forum mostly all boxes are square with straight edges so have your ads with square straight edges.

Extra tip

Have a channel for each content so you know which one is working best for you and work on the ones that arn't for example when creating your top leaderboard - add a channel thats says "yoursite"/Leaderboard so when you check your earnings you can see how many clicks it brings in for you.

I think it takes time to build up.

Generally i think 10,000 impressions equals 10$ or something like that.

But we are all trying to learn how to improve, i think the best thing is to work on the content of your website. If the content is good, users will come. But its alot of hard work. It might take a few years to actually start seeing some profit.

I heard alot of success stories. But the sites that earn are the ones worth looking at and get a ton of visitors.

Scorch also be alert for ads from places like smarter.com. They link to link pages and usually only pay .01 cents. You can block them using your competitive ads filter

Try to post with much more diversified topics with nicely blended ads. You can get a good CTR.
