Why AdWords get more expensive?

I'm new to AdWords and am confused why my budget would get more expensive. I realize my ad will show less frequently if I bid little. Also, do I have to officially terminate subscription or can just not make a new campaign?

Thanx,
d.

Probably the ad quality score is the cause

Google Adwords does not spend more than your daily budget except some situations. Consequently your monthly budget never exceed the limits.

If you give lower your max cpc bid of a keyword which its advertiser competition is high, your bid would be lower than the minimum bid of that keyword or your bid is not enough for that keyword appeared on the first page. Consequently you may have this kind of problems.

You don't have to terminate your Adwords account. You can create another new campaigns in the same account.

Is it me or those 2 sentences don't make sense together.

As for the OP question, I agree with Chris. A low quality score will affect your CPC.
On way to increase your quality score is creating multiple ad groups. Each ad group should target only a few keywords, all related and relevant with your ad text.

Go have a read: https://adwords.google.com/support/b...15&topic=10818

I hope it helps

I got your doubt.

Actually GOOGLE may exceed the monthly budget but this is a level of knowledge for Adwords Specialists.

What adwords customers need to know is what you plan to pay is what you pay

The thing is you say:
A ) Google sometimes exceed the daily budget
B) Therefore ("Consequently" to quote you), you will never exceed your monthly budget

That's what doesn't make sense to me. It's pure English, not even ad word related.
I guess it's good since I'm not ad AdWord specialist because my sig link doesn't say so.

Google Adwords sometimes will go into "overdelivery".

It's explained with ditchwater clarity at -> https://adwords.google.com/support/b...145&topic=7029

I know that. It's the Consequently that I had a problem with.
Saying: "they sometimes exceed your daily budget, consequently they never exceed your monthly budget" sounds like : "I don't have wings consequently I can fly." or "i spend more than what I make, consequently it allows me to put lots of money aside".

I agree that Google sometimes spends more than your daily budget. I know that they won't over charge you for your monthly budget. It's just not a consequence of the first sentence.

Anyway, I guess it's not very important. I was just pointing it out and it got blown out of proportion.

It is upto you what budget you spend also you want to see what key terms are working better for you and switch off those that are not working so well

The more beta products Google come out with, the more cost per click will be. I don't know if you notice, but there was an increase in cpc earlier this year when Google added mobile ads.
