Google AdWords suspended all accounts with poor quality landing pages. In fact, if you bid for low keywords CPC, then your accounted got terminated.
This may be unfair to low-bid bidders like us but it is fair to high-bid bidders. As you know, high-bid bidders ($.50 to $5 cpc) do not want you to bid for $0.03 to $0.10 cpc. They will loose money. This is the fair thing that Google do.
There are not only you, but millions of AdWords accounts got terminated because of poor quality landing pages.
So, if you want to use the cpc, then you have to try other companies.

Yep that is a page about quality scores, but it doesn't indicate any mass banning for bidding on low cost words and phrases.

I've heard of this rumors before, but there hasn't been enough complaints about this one for me to believe in..

I don't think google will ban your account for poor landing page. Where did you read that?

Actually there is a HUGE 19 page WebmasterWorld thread about it with TONs of affiliates but also big Adwords regular advertisers that were banned or were threatened with banning.

All the letters from Google mentioned poor landing page quality but it turns out that was not the real reason. Check this out.

In that recent round of Google slaps that were supposedly about landing page quality - AdwordsAdvisor (supposedly an official Google rep) explained what the slap was really about and it was geared toward certain types of affiliate sites, not so much landing pages or quality scores.

Google Mass Bans & Warns AdWords Advertisers, But Why?

Certain kinds of websites (ref1) are not allowed per our policies because the user experience is of low quality or we consistently receive negative feedback from our users about these kinds of pages. These sites include:

* Data collection sites that offer the false promise of free items, etc., in order to collect private information.

* Arbitrage sites that are designed for the purpose of showing ads

* Affiliates who provide limited value by being a bridge page with the intent of solely driving traffic to another site or who are framing an affiliate site

I think that this is just encouraging us to be better marketers. Google is selling ads too for the same purpose that we create affiliate sites but they provide a lot of free content to improve their user experience, and that's exactly what they are urging us to do.

Google makes a lot of money with internet marketers, but we need to adjust to their rules and move on from there.
