Will this get me in trouble?

1. I have a new adwords account. I have selected the prepay option for billing. Is it ok to let the funds run out all the way as clicks come in, and let the account get temporarily suspended, or does Google frown upon this (will I get penalized, account permanently suspended, etc).

The other option would be to constantly check the account to make sure the funds are up to date, but I travel a lot and I was concerned I may get behind occasionally.

2. My last question relates to using locations in keyword searches. Our service is available internationally. If I use a keyword phrase such as "dallas widget consulting," yet our office is not specifically in Dallas, will this likely get me in trouble with Google. I've used this type of keyword strategy in other ppc campaigns with msn and yahoo and have done very well, but I wanted to make sure Google wouldn't frown upon this before I did it.

I wanted to use this strategy because the cost per click for "dallas widget consulting" is often much less than a broad cost per click for "widget consulting," but my first priority is to keep in good standing with Google. Thanks for any help.

If your account is out of credit, the ads don't get shown so there will be no clicks.

Not necessarily, but the clicks may cost you more because of a low quality score.

1. suspend your campaign is OK, adwords team allows you to do that.

2. That's all right biding on "dallas widget consulting" for your website, although your office is not in dallas. They only consider whether the keywords you bid on is related on your website. If not your AD campaign will not be displayed.

One suggestion: Try to bid on more relevant keywords in your campaign so that you can get more traffic. One keyword might drive no traffic.

You can let your credits run out any time , It doesnt matter.

If they run out, You just wont get your ad shown.
Once you have credit, It will start showing again.

Ive been doing this for years and it hasnt been a problem.

Be concerned more about your quality score. A good suggestion would be to direct visitors to up an running meaningful blog with a viable opt-in bribe

If you have the money to invest, you should just pay Google or a service to manage the PPC campaign... It would likely increase your conversions quite a bit.
