My keyword is ranking on 2nd position in Google US SERP whose monthly local search volume is 90,500 but my keyword getting only 5 clicks a day. What is the reason behind it?

When people search on the SERP the fisrt thing they will see in all the reults is that which Tiitle has the more accurate results whihc are related to their search query. After they look below for the description which shows by Google if you description has the keywords related to theri query then they click on the website. Do one thing check your website that its Title and description should be written in well manner then you'll definitely get the visitor.

You have to remember, just because you see your page in the number position it doesn't necessarily mean everyone else will see the same.

More than likely it has to do with the budget assigned to the campaign. Google wants you to increase Max CPC.

Your keyword should be included in title and description. Make sure your content is relevant with your keyword.

Your keyword may not have so many searches.

Could be that your keyword isn't that popular. Just because google says it get X amount of impressions a month doesn't mean that people are clicking on sites based on that specific keyword. I have a keyword that is in 2nd position on google in the naturals and I only get about 10 clicks a day. I would suggest changing your title page to be more targeted to that keyword, as someone mentioned earlier in this thread.

Yeah right. Readers also read the pre-content that the search engine is showing when you are searching on the web.

I am also thinking of using Google Adwords, my lack of knowledge regarding this platform is hindering me from starting a campaign.

If you never get started with a campaign, you will never learn how to manage them.

I think you should probably have a more effective title for your site and a more effective description.
