AdWords Vs. Text Links

Right now I'm spending around $1,100/mo with Google AdWords. I've recently decided to see what I could do to get my site listed higher within the major search engines. I have learned a lot about SEO and backlinking in the last few weeks, but I still don't know enough to get my job accomplished like I want.
I updated my website about a month ago. So far I've noticed that search spiders are visiting the site, but the the updated pages are not showing up in the SERPS. If I buy high PR text links, will this help out the updating of my site? My site is a PR2 and obviously I would like to make it higher. For my industry I believe that I will rank high with a PR4 or higher. Can anyone make some suggestions for what I can do to boost my PR and refresh rate on the major search engines?

Thanks for your help.

Buying high PR text links will ultimately help your PR, especially if they come from sites related to your own. A higher PR will in turn aid you in the SERPS, to a degree, but are not the be all and end all for google.

Google will place you higher if you have good SEO and a large number of quality backlinks.

As for updating, I don't think the PR of incoming links will affect how often you get spidered, but the rate at which the sites linking to you themselves get spidered will.

well not shure but here is a little help

1)make shure your code and webpages are optimized for the keywords you are targeting
2)relvant back links with high PR is another way
3)submittng to search engines and also free dir
4)if your useing a keyword that is very hard to get a good listing you might also want to target another keyword
5)if your spending that much money you should be a PR6 by now
