Hi,

On my site you can add the following effect to images:

I would like to promote it through Google Adwords with an add.
But i have no idea what the search keywords have to be..

If you would be looking for such kind of effect to add to your images, what would be your search keywords then?

Make sure you test both broad, phrase and exact match..

Other then that, take a look at your competition.. see if you can pull words from their websites etc.. search engine results.. use a keyword tool to do more research.. find other ways these effects are referred to. Try long and short phrases.. use permutations etc..

It doesn't look like a high volume market, but there's not much competition.. and trying every variation out there you might find some good niche keywords to convert for you if you have a good product!

Good Luck!

Are you working for google or something?

99% of what you mention has nothing todo with the effect you see...
It has nothing todo with DHTML, Flash, PHP etc..

Sure it will bring traffic to my site, but not the visitors that i want to attract, so eventually it will cost me money and nobody is helped...

Till so far i have: "add twinkle star"

right!!

and people are searching for "add twinkle star" are they ???

well it won't cost you much in clicks but it certainly won't bring in any sales.

but it's your choice.

And you get a set of keywords to start testing with.

That's the way it works, you do the word research to find what people are looking for. then you run a Adwords campaign to refine the keywords set and find out for definite. The words/phrases that are either too expensive for your long term budget or do not convert well, you drop. In the mean time you use the same Adwords data to refine your natural results.
It will probably cost you money initially, but that's the way of the world. You do not get something for nothing.

Chris is absolutely right...

And "add twinkle star" is probably going to be to broad. That phrase by itself won't attract people looking for your effect; it will attract people looking for all sorts of things related to twinkling stars. You need to make sure your market is what's being targeted.

Knowing that the effect by itself won't be in high demand do to how niched it is, I would attempt to attract a broader market that would be looking for something like this in the hopes to convert some of it..

IF this is the only thing you are selling, chances are Adwords alone is not your complete answer. If you want to just promote with Adwords, then you are going to think about some new strategies because I'm guessing it's going to be tough to make a lot of money with one 'effect'.. some, but not a lot. At least not this effect...

The better way to approach Adwords marketing is to start with the market. Do keyword research to find a market that gets a lot of searches and has low competition or competition you think you can overcome. Then develop a product for that market.

You are starting with a very niched product and trying to find a very narrow market which... will be challenging and as Chris said, you'll have to spend money before you make money.

Otherwise if you are just stuck with this one small niched product, I would recommend a broader marketing strategy incorporating more then just Adwords.

Ok, thanks... I get the message

It is not the only thing. It is part of an online image editor, where you can also create animated gifs etc... It is just a new page of the site, which i wanted to promote seperately...

Anyway, thanks for the comments...
