I am convinced that unless you have deep pockets you can't really compete in google adwords. And if you are an affiliate site, forget about it.

However, i am thinking there might be a chance with Yahoo. Can anyone comment how campaigns with yahoo are going?

Why are you convinced? And why do you conclude affiliate sites are a bad thing?

I am with you It is very expensive to advertise on google--I have difficulty finding my way around to correct and or edit my ads. I found a different site to advertise on It is called goclick. You can find it at goClick.com they are a lot cheaper then google and overture(yahoo). It is rather user friendly for the most part. I do not have much money but have been able to advertise with them for about $50 a month as an affiliate and with a web page. With the $50 I have recieved over 3000 clicks this month

There are cheaper alternatives like searchfeed and a number of contextual advertisers. rates may be less, but so will be the quality. Test some of them and find the the one that works best for you.
