I'm not saying that you have to depict the sea in the logo, if you think that you can't depict the sea in the logo and it won't do any good to the design then plz don't use that...... Try to tinker other areas of the logo or you can try a fresh one.....

Here is a simple vector one:

Ok i tried a simple ord glare style in two different ways one of them includes a blue area which represents water and the other has it without.

the sizes were done at 400 x 400 and can be sized down to whatever you need.
Saved as PNG but can be changed, the background is transparent but originally white.

I really like that glassy effect in the logo but it's won't fit into my website's theme. May be changing of all colors and tweak the design may make it better! The blue color is okay but i don't think it has a look of the sea or depicting a sea.

no problem. i start doing some tweaking and playing around till i get the colors to match your site.

The one that are there now where only chosen as a representation of the sun, hopefully ill be able to match something more to your likeing.

The color for the sun is okay but i'm concerned with the color of the text and the tree.

Ok heres an edited version of the logo with more color.
i tried to match the text color with the website color but it may be off by a bit, i can always perfect it later on though.

What i did was give the tree its top green and stem brown to make it look more vegetated or lively.

Kanyakumari is famous for the triveni sangamam, Vivekananda rock, thiruvalluar statue etc., I think that it would be better if your homepage is redesigned to feature them instead of using some colour swatches.

It would be better if you place the text to the right instead of the text over the design. Also the tree is looking as if it's hanging in the air may be a splash of water or other grounding stuffs will make it better.

Buddy, it's looks awesome (the first one) but each part of the logo like the tree, sun and the blue base looks stranded. Can u put everything together?
Some ideas to make your design better:
# Splash of water/ a wave of sea water splashing over the sun
# Changing the sun having spikes (somewhat like theinspirer's design)
# Giving the trees leaves a dark green color

This is just my thought, you can do whatever to make it best.

I like your "cool sun" idea with a smiling face.
I don't like the gradient effect in the background and in the text. Please remove the background. Also i like the leaves in the tree it looks exactly like a coconut tree's leaves but i'm not okay with the stem.
Also it's not looking very professional.

Guys As i'm planning to launch this site on Nov 1st i would like to end this contest asap. May be within a week or two.

I have done them closer together.

I dont think spikes from the sun would really fit in with the design as the design is meant to be smooth and glassy rather than pointy.

I have done one without the water also to see what you think, I am trying to keep it simple.

If you give a google image search with the keyword "water splash logo" you can find varieties of logos. Otherwise i'm perfectly fine with the logo.

Hi I like the sun and the tree but somehow a professional look is missing in the logo. Can you please try a different one?

If I am honest there is no where that the splashes can go and fit in with the logo.

I have played around with eaves and splashes but with a splash you have to have a source, yes I could put something splashing into the sea if you like but it would over complicate it I think.
