To be honest, it don't have a look of a logo. It may be better if you remove the map, beach photo and the yellow splash.

It's a very good try but most of the people visit Kanyakumari primarily for the Sea (as it's the tri-sea meeting point) not for the coconut trees and greenery (greenery comes second after Sea, when we prioritize). If you can design the logo keeping this in mind, then, i guess, you can come with a very good design.

I like the concept and I like the coconut tree graphics it looks exactly like a coconut tree. (hikanyakumarinorays.png) but i don't feel this is what i'm looking for, reason:

1. It's bit cartoony but i want a logo with a glassy look
2. The sea graphics is not that real and catchy

Ok, here's one more concept from me in a few color variations...
