NightVisioN - like I said its a great design but doesn't feel right for the site.

jbernabe - I like this more, it has more structure and looks more like it could fit my content better. The content boxes are nice but I still don't like the large font being used for the categories in the sidebox and I'm not too keen on the main font either, I'd like something a bit more bold with an eroded look.

Nice to see more designs coming in!

i change the font... if you like others... its easy change it.

The second one is better but too eroded and it just looks like its plonked on top.

Sorry... the text looks a bit out of place, just like its placed on top of the background instead of merging in. I speak english fluently and find it hard to explain, sorry!

THE CONTEST IS NOW CLOSED... However, I'm not going to be able to review them all and provide feedback until later on so if anyone who has already said they will be submitting something posts their work before my next post it will be considered.

Right then...

Firstly I would like to thank everyone who entered this contest, I was a bit dissapointed with the number of entries to begin with but in the last few days things picked up a bit.

Ok then as for the winner... I have decided not to pick a winner for the contest itself as I do not get the right 'feel' from any of the designs... But please read on.

JoshChris came the closest with his design so I am going to contact him directly about the possibility of developing this further with some more of my ideas... So I guess you could kind of call him the winner in a way. Hopefully JoshChris will be able to post here to let you guys know I am being fair to him.

Also, so you all know, from this contest came another winner in a sense as I bought one of jbernabe's designs for $100 to use on another site I am going to be running soon for NSU Radio.

I will also be contacting genelmx about possible purchase of his logo.

I would like to pay special thanks to 170 who, although only posted once here has spent a lot of time contacting me via pm to produce his design, which I do like but don't think is right for the site.

Also special thanks to NightVisioN, very nice work, I think if you perhaps managed to get an entry in sooner my feedback could have led to a potential winning design.

Again thanks for everyone who joined in with this one, I'm sorry I didn't pick a winner but I think that in a way we have 3 winners so more people have benefited from this one.

I hope to work with you all again sometime.

I just wanted to remind you guys to leave positive iTrader ratings. I think some people have kind of forgotten about this feature. I think most people were afraid to enter this contest because the prize amount was higher than most of our contests here, and most designers were probably afraid this was a scam. (I worked with recedo quite a while back before we had iTrader ratings and know he's not a scammer, but other's might not know this!) If recedo had some good iTrader ratings, people might have felt more confident in posting designs!
Recedo - you can leave iTrader ratings for the people you buy from too!

I had seen the ratings but never really thought about it. I will leave ratings for those I have bought from.

I was a little dissapointed about the lack of entries as I thought the prize was quite good and there was pleanty of time. Got better towards the end but I didn't have time to provide too much feedback for those who entered later.

Thanks for reminding us about this feature, I hope people will leave this feedback for me.
