Not exactly what I'm looking for. Maybe do a transparent background so I can define the background color. That's not a requirement depending what you come up with but that's just my idea with a design like this. Also the company name is Ridge Woodworking. My idea is to stick with just the company name rather than adding more text, but I also am open to your ideas there. I'm not sure what the object is on your logo, but we manufacture mainly gazebos. Also decks and walk bridges. Check out our current website (www.ridgewoodworking.com) if you want to find out more about what we do. The main thing about a new logo is, it needs to have the right feel, and it's kind of hard for me to define exactly what I want, but I will let you know if I see something that is right. Hope I'm not confusing you. Also I am including a picture of the new web design so you can get an idea for colors, etc. The current logo is one I came up with, but didn't think it was quite right.

I think you might be to critical of your own work. Looks Great! However, if you still need a logo I will enter. Also if you are looking for someone to code that new layout let me know. (Or I could create a new one if wanted)

That object is a blend of wood. The color can be modified to fit into your layout. It is in grey just for flexibility

Thanks, but I already have it coded. And as far as the current logo/header goes, I will use it if necessary but I don't get the 'right feel' about it. Maybe I am too critical, but the logo is pretty important to me. So yes, bring on any ideas you have. I have seen some of the graphics done on this forum and I know there is a lot of talent here.

theinspirer- It's still not really what I'm looking for. I just somehow fail to get inspired by your design. I'm not sure how to critique it. The best way I know how to say it is, it just doesn't feel 'clean and professional' enough to me. And I know that's only my interpretation.

scorpionagency and Moxxnixx- both of your ideas could work, but somehow I don't think either of them have quite the feel that I'm looking for. Here are some logos that I like. Not suggesting that you copy any of these but they might give you more of an idea of the type of logo that I'm looking for. Notice that they all have what I call a 'clean' and uncluttered look. Simple yet elegant.

NightVisioN- your logo doesn't do much for me. I don't like those unidentified objects, but if you remove them, there's not much left.

Gx3 Grafix- You may be on the right track, but I'm not sure I like the colors in the business name. I'm not sure what else to critique about it. It might be worth while to play around a little with this concept.

nwjackson- I like it. Version 1 is definitely a contender for the prize. This one has the right feel about it.

I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone else will be coming up with.
