Looking for a nice banner for my new NFL Informer site:
http://www.nflinformer.com/

I would like a banner that states, "NFL Informer" and has football player(s) and cheerleader(s). I would like it to be more of a cartoon/silhouette type graphics so be creative! The more like a cartoon the better. Also, if you can develop a cool logo for NI (short for NFL Informer) or NFLI that would be nice to see a banner with and without the logo.

hey guys, i know i really shouldnt ask in here but what font have you to guys used? I like them both, infact they look pretty much the same, if you could give me the name of the font that would be great and if you could give me a link to download it from that would be even better, thanks guys.

EDIT: o, and dont worry about me entering this contest with it, i have no chance against those kinds of graphics, they are both awesome.

the font i used is called cracked in photo shop cs3... i am using a mac book pro so i dunno if it is a photoshop font or a pre-installed font on my mac. i also added a gradient and 3 px stroke. good luck

Here is what it will look like one the site.

i will prob match the colors so the grey background gradient blends in. i just guessed the color.

Just outta curiosity Ninjax, are you using a graphics tablet? If so its convinced me to buy one! Ive been meaning to get one for ages.

I simply find them on Google, it takes quiet a lot of time as I may sometimes change the wordings in the search and go up to page 20. When I do find the image I'm looking for I just edit it a bit.

Nope, I've not got one sadly. But it would certainly make the job much more easier and quicker, although not necessary.

To those of you who do use Google Images for inspiration or whatever please be aware of copyright infringements .... “I borrowed some inspiration from…” Originality is required. If you copy someone else’s original work, you have no copyright. Indeed, you’ve infringed their copyright, unless you fit within an exception. If you start with their work and make additions and changes, you’ve created a “derivative work.”

Sorry had to be said because I would be very irrate if someone "borrowed" from any of my work...

Oh and I meant exceptions as in how much we have to edit a copy written image to use it.

Ninjax it comes down to ethics and what you are going to sell to the client at the end of the day best thing I can advise is you do a little research on it. A client doesn't want to pay money for something that is already copyrighted and could infringe another artists work, they are normally looking for work that is "original". Feel free to pm me if you want to ask any more questions rather than us having a banter here and filling the thread
