I know you wanted something much different than this... but I tried a more classic retro coloring scheme and look.

Thank you very much for the feedback (and the compliment). I figured that was going to be the feedback for this design. I was going for something way different than what was asked for. Thought it might stir up some design ideas for a different outlook on the entire site design.

Nice design Sftcontest! As you expected...it's not exactly what I was thinking but it is a nice change from the existing entries.

This contest is now complete and the winner is Blakehaven! I would like to thank all those who took the time to participate. There were several very good entries to choose from but at the end I believe Blake came the closest to the look & feel that I was looking for. Congratulations.
