I need a letterhead template designed for my law firm. It needs to be something that can be printed out at home on a color laser printer.

Things that must be included:
Name of Law Firm: "Law Office of Jeffrey C. Neu, LLC"
Office Address and contact info: on website

Room for at least 2 attorney names and associated bar memberships
Bar Memberships

I have attached the Business Card, with it's current backing, which I like a lot!
Color Scheme: aligned with business card and logo   Type of Design: Other   Desired Dimensions: 100x100   Desired Filetypes: odt, doc   Prize: $80   How prize will be delivered: electonic   End Date: February 1
Attached Images
File Type: png jncbuscardrev4.png (29.3 KB, 21 views)

Do you want us to include your logo? If so, please post it.
Also, would you except PSD? BTW, 100x100 is way too small, thats the size of an average avatar.

Edit: Can't find your logo, it's not showing up on xpression's post...

Oh, and please avoid any standard cliche "lawyer" icons.

Hi, a much bigger version of the logo will be needed, if possible (for better quality). Thanks.

jeffrey - i'm confused - why don't you ask the designer of the business card to do it for you? they've done a really good job already and they have the original files.

I actually really like the designer. The reason is, they don't do Word/OpenOffice files. I would like something I can print on my laser printer at home.

ah i see. have to say i'm a bit surprised that they can't adapt one of their designs and use it as a logo/background image for you - simply export what they have and import it into a word/open office template, and position the logo for you.
well hopefully you'll find someone who can do it to match the rest of your branding.

Hi. I am the original logo and corporate ID designer. The problem is that I am not well versed in creating Word Templates and I don't want to provide the client with something that is sub par. The package I created was meant for commercial printing (full-bleed), which I believe he cannot do using Word and printing from home. Basically, he will end up with the white border all around his design. I can provide larger file format if Jeff is fine with that.

maybe he would be better with a short print run (at a printers) of a few hundred letters that he can use as to then print his letters on (i.e. just the text on top) ??

there might be some local printers that specialise in short print runs?

That's what I would do. But I do know of a few lawyers that use the word templates for their documents. They also have a section break with a different header/footer for subsequent pages (ie, page # of #, plainer version of first page design)........

Perfectly fine with that Xpress!

The issue runs that with some letters/correspondence, It is all digital and not even ever presented in Hard Copy. If I only have a hard copy image, I am stuck. I would also like to be able to prepare the docs at home. I am almost 100% paperless in my office. Everything is scanned, emailed, pdf'd, or in some manner transmitted to my clients and the courts electronically.

That being said, I most likely will get some printed by a printer, but the nature in which my office runs, doesn't really allow for only pre-printed letterhead.

I would actually prefer OpenOffice, but Word is fine just the same.

If Xpression could supply the original file it can be translated into OpenOffice along with Word and other forms.
So you can keep the exact look Xpression created for you and just have it duplicated and saved in different forms for you to use. I have the programs to do that if you need.

It is up to Xpression. If there is interest, another design is acceptable as well. The original design does not incorporate several of the required elements for attorney stationary.
