Graphic Design Contests

Greetings designers,

I need three 20 x 20 pixel icons - a home icon, a forward/back arrow icon, and a copy icon. The color scheme should fit in with the website (refer to www.icdmeister.com/site/). The icons should be clearly identifiable (not so stylized that one can't tell what they represent). The icons will be placed across the top of the content area in place of where the cyan arrows currently are.

More details:

Home icon - a standard looking home icon.
Forward/Back arrow icon - I like the current cyan arrows OK but would welcome some other options.
Copy icon - this icon will be to copy highlighted text to the clipboard. It could look like the copy icon in MS Word or something similar but the purpose should be clear from the graphic of the icon (ie. it won't have a text label).

Looking forward to seeing what you come up with.

Fiona - Definitely. Please submit your designs through the end of the contest. If there's an entry that I think is perfect, I'll end the contest and award the prize early.

JoeSoCool - Thanks for the entry. It's a good effort. A couple of comments to make them better in case you're up for revising them. I'm not so into the cyan color. It seems like it doesn't quite blend in well with the rest of the site's colors. I think your icons would look better if they used the more subdued blues. The copy icon looks good but is a bit hard to see because there's not enough contrast between the foreground and background. The house icon has good contrast. I think it would be more quickly identified as a house if the lines inside the box (?the door) were either removed or redone as the standard door and window typical for home icons. I'd love to see a revision.
