Hi,

I want to have a portal page created for a Honey Bee Farmer's website. There are going to be three parts to the site, the shop, blog and photo gallery.

Each one of these sites are going to be on separate subdomains so you don't have to worry about their design.

My very rough idea of the sort of thing I want.

The boxes across the page, with a linked title for each and space below for descriptive text and rotating content boxes. Main colours of the site based around greens, yellows and white.

Link to the image of the Bee from istockphoto happy to have other images used from the same collection of Bee pictures.

Open to changes and other ideas.

Hey! Thanks for your entry.

Some feedback on it.

The bee image doesn't really fit where it is. Maybe have it placed in the columns? Or dropped.

How about turning the green columns into hives? Just a thought? Not sure if there is any good images out there of hives?

Failing that, can the columns be coloured differently to signify different parts of the site. Text is also a little hard to pick out.

wow - that's quite all right...

I must say, I like it.

Only downer is the bee in the top left. Looks a little weird from here, but I'm on a crappy old laptop away from home at the mo, so it might look better on a decent monitor.

But that's minor.

Yeah, I think I might want to work on that bee just a little bit more...I'm not quite satisfied with him either. It might look a little funny because it's shrunk a little in the forum here. If you follow the image path, you can see it full size. If it still looks funky after that, maybe you could describe a little bit what makes him look weird and I'll see if I can fix him. I was trying to make it look like he was crawling out of the hole.

Logo and anything can be removed in time of pay.

BeeFarmerNeeds.org was just the 1st thing that game to mind when i did this design, because the galleries, the blog, and then the shop. Just everything in one place.

(Logo Does Not Come With The Website, Logo Purchase Is Seperate)
- Logo is Scaled from a 8 x 10 inch, The files can be handed over to you if you would want logo as well. That can be discussed more.

I'd like to say a big thanks to the three people who put their time into this competition. The quality of the work was good, and it's been a tough decision to pick the winner.

My choice is steveorm3l for his design. It seems to bring across the idea I had which I'm very pleased with the end result. Thanks again to everyone who entered.
