Graphic Design Contests

Hello everyone, im back for another contest. Ive had good luck here and will continue as long as the quality entries continue. Today what I need is a rework of the image below. Im not happy with the image at all. Its boring, and flat. The blue background should be eliminated as i prefer transparent backgrounds. I want three copies, one psd, one .png, and one in .gif.

What im thinking in my head, is more of a circular image with arrows. Please dont make a giant circle and toss some simple numbers in. A swoosh'ing type of circle possibly?

I cant wait to see what you have in the creative heads of yours

Another idea is to somehow employ a real image of a sports stadium from over head somehow... And get the 4 steps on it somehow...

with possibly the eraser tray with erasors on it ? Im unsure how that will look...too bland right now..

Just so you all know, we dont have to have the elements of football, basketball, etc ...

I would be curious to see a round 4 step circular graphic....its hard for me to explain ive seen it somewhere at some time.. A real life stadium shot from overhead of slighty off to the side as well ?

I dunno exactly, im looking for you guys creativity....

Gx3 - I like your entry, im looking for something uncartoon if possible for this project. As right now the initial feedback on the site has been that people think its 'fantasy sports' so we are trying to knock that thought away...

here's my attempt. It's alot like bigrival's, but I tried to go for more of a chalkboardy feel, while still incorporating the sports part.

I would like to get the diamond to be more chalky, but it's late here, so I'll work on that tomorrow. Any thoughts on this current design? I could resize elements to emphasize the text more, etc, if it needed to fit in a smaller space.

Thanks for the great feedback. Since it's a 2 day contest I won't have a chance to resubmit an entry. Today is my daughter's birthday and with tomorrow being Easter, my time is spent this weekend. Best of luck, lots of talent here on the forum.

I dont know, ive posted alot about some different ideas. Im open to much more I just havnt seen it.

It doesnt have to be the chalkboard, even tho id be curious to see something like i said before with a metal outline of a chalkboard with the tray and erasers..

But again, im open to a more circular design made of big arrows flowing in a circle too..

Im just not sold on anything yet...

Im really leaning on you guys as the designer for creativity....read the front page of the site , see the image.... There HAS to be a better way to portray this image..
