Graphic Design Contests

Hi all,

We are currently developing an international politics site (www.myforeignpolicy.com) and are looking for a new headline banner. I've been very impressed with the standard of entries in other contests on this site and would like to offer the banner for our site up to competition.

We are looking for something which gives the impression of myforeignpolicy.com being a forum for global political discussion. The idea of global interconnectivity being key. The primary colours for the site are black, white and purple and we would like both our site heading and subheading incorporated into each design (although if you think a different subheading would suit your design better feel free to offer it up for consideration).

Ideally, we would like the banner design to be crisp, sharp and relatively uncluttered.

nice contest and im really interested in participating..

some questions..

1. is the size correct? 1280 x 768?
2. can you give us images or pictures that we can use for the design? if you can provide us some that would be great..

1280 x 768?

You do realise that the average screen size is only 1024 x 768... I had to scroll sideways on your site.

Wild guess, but maybe the '1' in that number was a mistake.

280 x 768 seems logical for a banner.

CH last logged in on the 13th ... contest suppossedly ends on the 1st May, anyone heard from the CH? No feedback either, doesn't look promising.
