PLEASE MOVE THIS THREAD IF ITS NOT IN THE RIGHT AREA!~




HELLO ALL,
I AM EXTREMLY NEW AT THIS< OK LIKE YOU ALL NEVER HEARD THAT B4 RIGHT?
AFTER SOME MESSING AROUND TRYING TO GET A TEMPLATE THAT I WANTED TO USE I HAVE BEEN LUCKY ENOUGH TO FIGURE IT OUT.> YEAH ME!
OK NOW,,, IM SLIGHTLY CONFUSED IN THE FLASH BUTTON AREA
THIS IS WHAT I'M PRESENTED WITH >>>> CALLED " vtxptd.txt"
OK SO I KNOW ITS A TEXT FILE OK BUT WHAT THE HECK IS THIS AND HOW DO I DECHIPER IT.
COULD SOMEONE GIVE ME AN EXAMPLE OF HOW I GET THE URL's WORKIN???

Dizzy,
The external text file work as dynamic content in flash. So you have two variables: button's text (Home, Forums, etc.) and button's URL.
For Home button (&button1=Home) corresponding URL is: &url1=#. Replace this sign # with your URL for the home page. Example: &url1=http://yoursite.com/home.html.
