sam: Don't like the font, and I would hate to compete with safeway with the logo S at the end!!!!

omgage: Font is not working. The drop does not look good enough. like your idea about the droplets in half circle though.

Pnoi: No. hate to repeat myself, but it needs A LOT of work before it can be considered. Please read comments given to other designers, and you will see what I mean.

Xpress: Not what I had in mind. Try and loose one of the strings, and work around only one, as this will simplify the s. Otherwise if you can come up with something else to transform the S into, i am willing to see. Your font is so far the best we've seen, and really hope you can make something creative with a letter (pref the S (-

Armann: Not a big fan of the Serif font. If I have said that earlier, It must have been before seeing other fonts that we liked better. Try and remove the "shade" in the drop and remove the half bowl holding the drop.

idig: No shading please, and with that font, the word becomes too long.

ppl....I totally appreciate all the effort you guys are putting in...
but I would appreciate if designers try to understand what the contest holder wants and then design...
What I understood here from CHs comments that...the design is required to be
- simple
- impacting
- no gradients/1-2 colors
- it doesn't seem he wants much of graphics around
- the logo is for retail products...not a website
- The alphabets N and S should be diff and impacting...

I would suggest all of you concentrate more on the brand name design....

I may submit a design....bit of a held back as of now...

unmaster: yes, go ahead and impress me (-:

univer: don't like the font too much. Actually though the NS logo was cool, especially if it is supposed to look like a lock. Unfortunately it has nothing to do with our products. don't seperate the word.

andrei: The biggest challenge for you will be to find a font that I like. Secondly I don't like the swooshes, as they are too clumsy and boring.

Fiona: I don't get the logo? Don't like the font. The NS theme is highly overrated. I would prefer not to have a NS logo.

Everyone: I see a trend about the waterdrop, and I must take som responsibility for that, as I believe I was positive about this for a while. However, since not all our products now or in the future will be repelling water, we are not sure it will work. What is for sure though is that all our products will be nanotechnology related, and if this could be highligted, it would be perfect.

silver: don't like the font. We are really particular about the font, as we want something a little unique, and something that kinda brings the letters together to make the word appear shorter visually.

pnoib: Font is really not working. The S is a littel too detailed, and does not really add a meaning to the words nano or safeguard.

A couple more designs.. drew up a new logo. can incorporate NS in the sphere or resize the sphere if you want.

only: Keep the word together. Don't like the font. Not too crazy about the drops at the end. don't have to worry about the tag line.

univer: We've seen the font of the first design before, and although it is close to what we like, it is not exactly what we want. We like the molecule net, but wish it, or part of it, could be integrated better in the name and not adding to the lenght of the name.

NanoSafeguard - I noticed that no one is really getting the font right. Would you be able to post some examples of fonts that you prefer. And maybe list what it is about those fonts that you like? If you could do that, and update your original post, I am sure our designers can get more on target with the logo.
