Hello. Im looking for a new banner for my site. The forum for video game collectors is called www.ragedgamer.com. I would like the words Raged Gamer on the left side, and some kind of graphic on the right side that deals with this theme. Background should be simple but appropriate.

Please provide two examples. I'll choose the most appealing Sunday. Thank you!

Considering that the name is "Raged Gamer", you'd really be looking for some red and darker colors. Blue is more of a cool theme. It'll be a challenge.

I think you may be right Ninjax. I guess I can change the forum colors around to suit the banner theme. Do try some red/darker colors if it works out better for you.

Also is this a kind of banner which you want to incorporate video game characters into? Or are you edging away from that, and want to keep it clean?

Characters are good. Just to clarify though this website will be aimed more toward the 18 to 35 age crowd since the rarest collectible games are from the late 80's - early 90's era. So just keep that in mind also.

Wow, these all look great! Thanks everyone who submitted their designs. You guys have serious talent, it won't be as easy as I thought to choose the best one.

Ninjax, yourmediaking, and itrungs, your banners have simplicity and flow really well, but you can't really tell what the site is about just by looking at them. I want people to come to the forum, look at the banner and say 'this is a forum for video game collectors.'

katesrobyn, you got the theme down and I like it, but its a little too busy, too much going on.

bizdakol, your second entry is simple, embraces the theme and stands out. Looking good!

universifier, nice colors, simple design, theme grabbing. Bonus points for the catchy tag line. Maybe add a few systems to the pile of games to the right and its golden.

Should I remove the controller to make room for more games? Or should I keep it in, I think it looks good.

whew, not to late to submit right? well, here it it! not so red like the others though.
i didn't feel like using game characters because there are so many, and if i just pick a few, it wouldn't represent the video game genre. so instead i used the logos of all the major game console makers.

this one have a water mark on it, if you pick mine, i'll remove it.

BTW.. forgot to mention earlier, I designed the logo so that its scaled down version can be used as an icon in the forum.

You can be sure, unlike other entries that these are all rare games. Plus the banner fits your color scheme, and is in your ideal requested size.
