First I hope this finds you well. Second please don't respond if you're not going to follow through with things. We've been royally burned by two internet companies and can't afford any more nonsense Anyhow, I'm a medical non profit and I think it would be great to use someone here for my forum logo. If all goes well, I've got at least 4 more logos plus stationary, cards and so forth.

This condition is called Thoracic Outlet Syndrome. It is a very painful and sometimes life and limb threatening. It originates in the upper chest, side of neck, shouder and arm. see atosa.org Almost all patients have a difficult time finding any type of help and hope so the logo must convey the following and also remain a bit corporate.

1. compassion
2. understanding
3. hope
4. and most of all, I want the logo to convey a feeling that these patients aren't alone in thier struggle. Maybe one person hugging another? Or a group? Hell I don't know. Just make it look good.

I don't mind abstracts at all but branding is very important. I'm seeing a ton of logos using those stick type figures with round heads, sort of like the nike sign with a head. LOL I want to stay away from that.

The logo should read Thoracic Outlet Syndrome Support Group Network
with tag line of You're not alone!

Minimum Requirements:

1. Color scheme: see above
2. Type of design: logo
3. Desired size: depending on logo size I really don't know at this time
4. Desired file type: vector, psd, jpg and png
5. Prize 125.00
6. How prize will be delivered: Paypal only
7. End Date August 9th, 2008
8. Optional Information:
   1. Desired font: surprise me. something that conveys hope; nothing like arial bold or anything resembling that or script handwriting
   2. Location for graphic: left corner start. usual forum placement
   3. Inspirational website or designs: see above
   4. Other relevant information: simple in design two to three colors max- no red, no black,
   5. lite on orange, yellow and lime green,

Logo should be able to be dublicated in PSD using different color scheme for different forum designs. We need to be able to use same logo but change colors for each forum design.

Please learn what Thoracic Outlet Syndrome before starting project. Google it and you'll find plenty of info.

Well that was fast. **** I should have come here first. It's okay. Not sure what the squares represent but I said abstract so it's nice to see it. I do like the text though. I would like to see something that conveys a bit more of a "in this together type" feeling. Thanks so much this is such a nice experience so far. I would like to see what else you may have in mind when you can.

I'm liking this concept the best so far. I like the second horizonal one the most. What is the middle circle? I can't read what it says. Is it TOSSGN as an acronym? I like the concent of togetherness you've done. Maybe colors can be a bit brighter? Can I see what it would look like in lime green, orange and teal as in the check marks to the right of the forum catagory head? I like the simplist nature of this as well. Conveys a lot without being to complex. The text is perfect, don't change the font it looks good but I'm worried about the color of the font fading into backround. I'm not sure how to fix that soo I'll leave it up to you. We can take away the bottom shadow as well. I think the "you're not alone" should be on the bottom instead of top. What do you think? Maybe take away the whole inner cirlce or have it read "hope" I don't know. Let me see what other designs you have in mind when you have the time. Forgot one thing. Is there anyway to make the arms more downward towards the lower part of the body, sort of forming a circle? That might be very neat.

Thaniks itrungs. Not bad but I think I've seen that heart designs too much in the logos of today. Maybe begin with something to convey togetherness? Maybe a different color scheme as well.

Univers. I really like you design. The text is great. A little difficult to see the yellow but keep it though ... just make it a little easier to read and I'm not sure how to do that. Your icon concept is great. I would like to see a second person too as to convey even more the concept of a group. Not fond of the black border as well. Again, don't change the text except for the making the yellow a bit more readable. Work on the icon and I certainly think you have a good shot at this. Could be a bit more abstract of a icon depicting two people or a group.. I don't know surprise me

Hi ..idigbd that's good too. Like the colors a lot. I love the together feeling ALOT but I think it looks a bit too child-like and the man in the middle.. My members would kill me since 90% of TOS patients are women Not crazy about the text face on the first and second "thoracic outlet syndrome" but I do like the text on the first "Support Group Network. Where is the 'You're not alone? I do like the color of the people a lot.
