Hi all,

Sorry if I'm not responding to all entries quick enough. I do fully appreciate the efforts made here and thank everyone so far for their input. The standard is very high.

The contest is not over yet but it is fare to say that the design by KatesRobyn is in poll position currently as the designer was first off the block and it has very much a corporate feel to it, is in the colours we need and followed the size requirements which is what we are after.

I would add that i wont be the sole judge on this contest, it still has 14 days to go, so it may be that i will come back on the other entries once my collegues review this thread in the next week or so.

Meanwhile i would comment:-

Ninjax - nice design, like it but you need to note the size, we need a rectange going down not a square. The design is clean and good quality and im awaiting further feed back on it but my personal thoughts are that we probably need something with stronger brand identity, a bit more corporate looking, perhaps more dominance of the words Red and Cvs.

mswgfx - looking for something more corporate, the style is probably to casual for the type of site the logo is going on, but thanks for your input.

mrfume - Like this design, the size is out on it but it represents the kind of thing we are looking for. I think the katesrobyn design might have the edge on your design but again im going to get further feed back on it next week. Its certainly a quality image.

BradMaver - Nice design, but wont work for us. In the UK a CV site already exists with a trumpet looking item in the design like your voice mike type image so it might be too close to an existing one, great design but not what we are looking for, i will send it for further review but i cant see it beating the current leading logo - Thanks for your entry.

kmoore11 - To simplistic for us, the logo has to be corporate looking in design but a great effort and we thank you for your input.

I will be looking in again early next week so please submit any further entries and the best ones will be sent on for further review. The standard to beat is the logo by KatesRobyn in my opinion but as i mentioned im not the only judge on this contest.

The rectangle and the background is not the logo. Only the Red CVS writing is the logo, the square/rectangle is just the logo inside the size you specified. Also did you mean 150x130?

Hi RichTC, I hope that contest is still alive.

This is my entry, or even two. Both are clean, professional and perfect for branding. Personally I prefer the second one, and which is your favourite? If you wish there is possibilty to make the full stationery set. The logo is 100% vector made in Adobe Illustrator (not Photoshop - it's not for making logotypes), the file formats you will get are .ai, .eps, .jpg and .png (or any other you would like). Any corrections are possible, feedback is appraciated.
