keep em coming guys!!! These are looking great. Question though...
When I pay and you guys do these for real, will it be simple enough for me to just change wording, images, hyperlinks, etc in "Design" mode of Dreamweaver? Remember I know nothing about code...
Also, any thoughts/ideas on the "products" page? For example if someone actually clicks on trophies, what that page would look like?

None taken... its all a process of learning what you want.

At top where you have logo, Id like a bar up there with different links. Like Home, Store, etc... Again, like apple site
|
Which links do you want up there? Would the links from the information box work?

The links on the right is different to me and I think Id perfer it on the left.
|
That's how I started, but to me it seemed to flow better that way. Can change it though in my next concept.

The section in the middle with the pictures is sorta what Im going for, but I dont like the blue background. I know half the problem is the pictures have different colored backgrounds, but Im going to try and get photos with white backgrounds and what a "cleaner" look... and again, like the apple site
|
It would give the site a "cleaner look" if the pics had a transparent background, but I didn't want to mess with the pictures themselves. I went with blue because it was the accent color on your original site. Is there a color you would prefer?

And not to sound like a broken record here, but like the apple site, I like how they have multiple sections of those photo parts. So I might have a top section with newest items or something... then staying in middle of page like that, have top awards with photos of a couple different awards... then another section with top engravings, etc... kinda like apple site has
|
That can be done easily with any design. I will try to keep that in mind though.

one thing I do really like is how on that crystal piece you have a shadow under the photo. Not sure if that photo just happened to have that or not. But how hard is it to add a small mirrored look under photos? Not sure if it will look good, but my iphoto does that and I think its kinda cool..
|
Well, I had to do a little work to the award. I figured that Apple's site is very Web 2.0ish and the reflection would work well with the theme. It wouldn't be to hard to duplicate the effect on your pictures if they all had a solid white background.. Im not sure if there is a program that does it automatically though. There are a few ways to do it however.
I will try to work another concept up this evening or tomorrow.

i can make a psd web 2.0 layout for you, but i would suggest if you want to have a a shopping cart and everything than use a cms like Joomla or something.

**** guys, i`ve just read all threads started by 00bolt - http://www.webmaster-talk.com/search...earchid=868330 . He has a bunch of started contests with no ending, why we haven`t thought of this before?
3 days more and i`m going to leave a bad iTrader rating, i suggest you all do the same.
Last thing i will propose he will be banned on this website.
As a suggestion - mods please check history of users who are posting contests, as we, designers forget to do this often. Thanks
Andrei G.

I have made an attempt to contact the contest holder.
This is a prime example of how very important and useful the iTrader rating feature can be. If the designers in the previous abandoned contest left negative iTrader, it would be very easy for all of us to look at the history of the Contest Holder. Without these reviews, it is quite difficult and time consuming to do a "background check" on all of the contest holders. I would have to go back and review all of the CH's previous posts and threads and evaluate whether or not I should warn people about the credibility of that CH.
Something I will do, is start giving my own negative iTrader to contest holders who have abandoned their contests. If a contest holder comes back and completes the contest, I will remove (or make a note) on my rating.
**Edit**
You can view updated details about my iTrader rating plans here: http://www.webmaster-talk.com/graphi...er-update.html

Negative feedback left for 00Bolt, as he is a fraud. Do not hesitate to do the same. If we don`t protect ourselves, who will? This is a clear example of what can happen if we don`t use the negative feedback option.
Unfortunately i`m no moderator, otherwise i would create a Hall of Shame for guys like him.
