The amount of whining that goes on on this forum is, at times, unbelievable, and how you can have anything negative to say, katesrobyn, is completely beyond me.
The contest holder asked for a 'demonic cat', a term which could be considered ambiguous at best. The winning designer has chosen to use a lion, a species of (big) cat as you correctly state, and the quality of the work has impressed the contest holder enough to declare it the victor. No amount of sniping and complaining is going to change that, or indeed make it any less plausible because you didn't consider it.
Quite frankly your attitude is appalling, not least when the quality of your work doesn't match that of JetGirlArt's. Criticising designers isn't something I take pleasure in, but when such flying statements (nobody is required to give feedback before choosing a winning design, if that design is pretty much what they're after - that tends to uphold the basic definition of a contest) are made it's hard not to say something.
