Hi everyone! I own a pet sitting business that offers in-home care and dog walking for pets while their owners are busy with work or travel. I am offering $30.00 to the winner to be paid through PayPal for your logo designs.
The name of my business is
Elizabeth's Pet Sitting

I would need a variety of file formats (.jpg/.gif/.psd/.esp/.ai/.pdf/.cdr/ etc...), as this logo will be used for the Web, business cards, newsletters, and other promotional materials (and hopefully shirts and other marketing mediums soon) and will need to be resized without losing quality.
I mostly use vistaprint for marketing

I do not have a specific color preference, but I do like the color blue

I do not have a specific front in mind either; I just want to portray elegance and style. Ideally I would like a golden retriever in my design if possible ,but I am open to other submissions as well. I primarily sit for dogs and cats, but also sit for other animals. I do not want my logo to be too busy.

I hope to see a lot of great work soon.

hey trooperdog1 i'm working on something for your business but i need a little info
what animals do you work with?
do you have any catch phrases or things of that nature that you would like added to the logo?
will the winner get a presentage from the merch. sold?

I mainly sit for dogs and cats, but also sit for other animals. My business does not sell merchandise yet(I am small scale) just me and 1 employee, just offers services so there is no profit from sales of items with logos. The logo is for my business for advertising. I have included a few styles that I like so you have an idea of what to start with, but I would like to see what you come up with as well.

Also I am fairly new to this so I don't know if 30 dollars is fair for what I am asking. I saw a previous pet sitting contest and that's what she offered so I figured I would go with that, but am willing to raise it a bit based oon number of submissions and responses.

Kate's robyn, I like it except for the dog. I have no idea what breed this is. Could you try it with a Golden and also change some of the colors, out of all the colors pink is my least favorite. Blue is excellent though

If animals could be incorparated into the text that might be interesting
Elizabeth's Pet Sitting animals on either side or on top of the letters. I like cartoon or silouiette but need something professional and stylistic(not to kid like)

So far I really like the latest entry by scorpian, it is vivid, and well done. I am partial to Border Collie's too. I wonder what it would look like with a Golden or a dog and cat in the circle together. Can you try it with a cat in the center too next to the dog or will that not work.Great effort, I really love this design ! Keep um coming everyone
I like the other two as well,
itrungs- the dog in the circle is cute ,but I think a little too simplistic
Kate- I like the use of the color blue, and the star
Pawprints in the logo are definely a plus

Thanks for the feedback. I don't want to come off the wrong way, however the dog alone (Hand illustrated from scratch with graphics tablet) took a few hours to do. The prize amount is a bit low for spending another few hours on a cat too with as much detail as I did on the dog.

So far vested into this contest counting both of my concepts we are looking at 6 hours. Even at $6.00 per hour (Under minimum wage) x 6 hours = $36.00. My normal rates are in the $20.00 per hour range. I enter contests in my spare time for added public relations.

If you were to raise the prize a bit more, I would be more than happy to devote more time to the project.

I would be willing to raise the prize to 50 dollars. Thanks for letting me know. I am fairly new at this so I appreciate all the feedback.
