LucyChase - I really like that paw print idea, nice job!
katesrobyn - I thought you were going to do a different design all together, this one looks like the first one you posted. It does look a lot better but all the text looks very scrunched up. And from far away like magnets on my car doors, I don't think this logo would be very easy to understand what it is that I do. What about the logo that you designed for the other pet ad that was canceled? Oh can you please post back up the city feeling logo you did, I would like to view it again. Thanks!

katesrobyn - Thank you for re-posting your other design. I still feel the revised city theme is not for me, although I do like the artistic aspect of it.
As far as your revised first proposal, its nice, but I think I decided I do not want any human figures in the logo. It feels weird to me if they don't look like me.
xpressions - You captured the organic/nature feel very nicely. However I am not fond of the color blue at all. Maybe you could change all the blue to brown? Or change the tree top to green and the pets to brown kind of like the pets are representing branches on a tree? If you stayed in the green/brown colors, tones, and shades I think I would like it more. Also I know you are putting your name across the middle of the logo to watermark it, but it does make seeing the design hard, especially with the small size photo you submitted. I do not like the cat image, it took me a long time of staring at it to recognize it was a cat. And the large paw print by the dogs head looks like a bears paw, and I don't think I will be taking care of any bears! Even though I like the light airy feel of your logo, do you think there is anyway to darken it up without loosing the look of it? I want to be able to view this logo from far away such as on a t-shirt, hat, or car door magnets that I will be getting for me car. I want people to recognize what I do from far away.
Handsome - I like what you did much better than your other submissions however it looks very similar in style to Lucychases globe design that I like more. I thank you for submitting it thou and I will keep it in mind.

NightVisioN - Thank you for your submission, but I he looks too cartoon-like for me. Also I would like to see the name and slogan tied into the design because that is how I will be using the logo. Thanks thou.

xpressions - You are really VERY talented. I do really love your design. Although from far away it looks like an enviromental agency or a tree company, I still really like it thou. Top 2 I have seen so far! I am just not sure if people would immediately see me as a pet sitting business from far away.
I just saw a few details that I noticed, and I felt they were not quite right.
1. The 2 paw prints that are on either side of the slogan do not look even (lined up) to me, and I did not noticed before but you have 2 other paw prints in the design that look like bear prints still. They are the 2 paws under the turtle.
2. At the bottom of the tree top on the right side under the cats tail, it looks like some green needs to be filled in a bit more as I can see a white line that looks pretty straight.
3. Also not sure I like the arrows or not. I know they are suppose to be tree branches, but they kind of look like arrows pointing at the dog and the cat.
I wanted to ask did you draw the tree trunk free hand yourself?
Great edits so far thou.

Thank you for the feedback. Actually, I think it's the slogan that needs a bit of shifting, but the paw prints are aligned. Yes, I just saw the other bear prints. Will replace those (are you sure you won't add Bears to your sitting services!? I seem to be insisting!). The green can be filled in a bit more (I used a brush stroke which does leave white space). The "arrows" are actually bird prints...LOL. Those can be replaced as well. As for the tree, yes I did draw it, however, I used another design as the basis for the trunk. That can also be modified to suit. However, the animals/pets and paw prints are fonts.

I am brand new to blogging...I know I need to get with it...but I am unclear about why my images won't upload to the blog, saying the file size exceeds my limit....although it doesn't? I also wondered how you embed your images in your posts...is that with a url???? I apologize...can anyone help me out?

Hi erin, just use "image hosting site" such as photobucket.com .... and it will give u a direct link to your image.. that u have uploaded in their site, then use the image button here (one with the mountain) and put the link there, easy as that
Remember that the file need not to exceed to 2MB, so try to re-size it, or convert it to BMP
Hope this helps.

erinbullerdieck - Thank you for your submission. It has a charm to it, but not quite what I am looking for. I am narrowing down my decision at the moment,
I might be ending this contest early, so please get in your final designs soon.
katesrobyn - I want to thank you VERY much for all your hard work and entries, but unfortunaly your designs were not what I was looking for.
