Graphic Design Contests

We are a website service/multimedia company named New Deal Multimedia and we need a new logo for our business. We are trying to be web 2.0ish with a modern/artistic feel.

I have included two images, the first with some of our promotional materials and a shirt which the logo will be placed on, so it needs to be simple. You can see the colors are in the rang of browns, oranges, tans, yellows and pinks.

The second image is of our website header, the logo also needs to contrast with that. I have removed our current logo from the images to avoid any mind blocks.

We are willing to pay $50 for a quality design that is high enough resolution and versatile enough it can be used in many different applications.

MrNova, I don't really care for your design, it is a start though! I don't like the blocky look. Something more with text and maybe an image that has to do with websites/multimedia? I am open to anything, just want to be sure its versatile enough to be used in different applications.

I am including the logo of the company we are renaming from in the same header as before. I like the scheme of it but the KK isn't fitting anymore and something a little more complex is acceptable but still remaining simple and flowing.

Here's mine... The icon represents "different points of creative ideas"....blended of your company colors, in different view.....emblem, logo-icon, full logo with text and includes negative color ... open for suggestion. Thanks.

katesrobyn, I like your approach just maybe a little busy. I kinda like the font reminds me of something big, like Hollywood and movies but the icon isn't fitting, too complex yet but good job incorporating colors. Maybe give it another try!

itrugs, still time to get in! That goes for everyone else too, we are running the contest until the end of the day on Nov. 19! Please take my comments along with your original concepts and have at it! I am still open for anything!!!

katesrobyn, xpressions, SuperficialP&D and andrei155, I really like your designs. You have all realized that I like the little icon idea and then the name of the business. You are all very much in the running still!

andrei155 if you get rid of the like 1px border between the two sides and have it like flowing I think it would be better.

Pafl3a, your design is excellent graphic work but not what we are looking for. Feel free to submit something else that isn't so much.

Everyone else, please get posting your designs! We will choose on Thursday problem what design we want to go with. Remember, so far I like the icon idea for the designs.

Everyone else that hasn't posted, you have till the end of the day on Wednesday to post your designs! It is anybody's game at the moment so don't wait until the last minute, get posting!!!
