Hi there,

I need a business card designed - I have tried a few things myself but was never happy, I want something a bit swisher than what I have.

Please see on the following link what I came up with. I like it's simplicity however it's too plain. Also this example gives you all the info I need on the design, so please use this as a reference point: http://madcapsule.com/bsinesscards/mcbusinesscard.gif

Do the size... the resolution is 300 dpi... Please see this following link, the design must be the same size. The blue border shows where the design will be cut however the design needs to extend to the red border due to the way business cards are printed. MrNova - Thanks for the entry. I'm looking for something more subtle, which may mean not using anything 3D? Also I'm not too sure about the big C, the character 'C' in my trading name holds no relevance to anything, so there is no need to place it up. I do like the contrast shown though

Thanks for the entry, I like how you have combined the 'm's' and the 'c' and how it is repeated in the corner yet cut off, nice touch. I think the background needs to be darker and the yellow to be brighter.

xpressions - Thanks for your entry. In answer to your early question no there is not a logo, I don't have one - I don't need one to some extent. That being said, what you have done making the capsule image with the initials in is real swish, I like that alot, well done. Colours are spot on what I had in my example, so I'm happy there too. Can you make the font Verdana though, see what that looks like? Also could you try and move the capsule, just give me a few examples as to what it looks like with the capsule at the other end of the text, or below it etc? Thanks.

I'm very happy with the effort and time you have all given me, many thanks.

A note to all, however, I need the design to fit the size of the template file I posted on my first post.. http://madcapsule.com/bsinesscards/bctemplate.gif .... the printers need it that size to print for some reason. The designs you shown here are fine whatever size however the final product PSD must be delivered in the size of the template.

Thank you for the feedback. Here is the requested revisions. Does VistaPrint have the .psd template for the bus. card? I know you are providing the .gif but if that file is off even by a pixel, it could jeopordize the full bleed.

Hi Andy,

Thanks for the entry - looks nice good work. I like the title style, very bold and stands out well. My only concern is that the swirl you use seems a little blurry in points, especially near the ends?

yep the swirls look much better now.. being really picky.. the tag line underthe title is also a bit blured :$

Hi James,
It's because it's reduced to a small image in comparison with the final product and saved as a web friendly JPG, I have cleaned it up a little bit but you're always going to get that blur on sample images..
