Graphic Design Contests

Hi all,

We're getting ready to launch a new venture and need an online brand/identity to design our site and layout around.

We're wide open to style, and we'd like to see some of your creativity shine in this project.

There are three words you should be mindful of when working on your design.
1) Collaboration - Think crowd powered ideas, community based action, etc. Somehow it should say that people are involved

2) Organic - We're all about grassroots, organic ideas to build our services on.

3) Strategy - Ideas, plans, vision, etc

I'm wide open to color scheme as well, but I thought I would point you at some logo color schemes that I like. These aren't similar in any way, but they are ones that I find visually appealing color wise.

Company Name - Strategic Activism, LLC (This is the text that needs to be in the logo, with very little emphasis on the "LLC" part) No catch phrase required.

What the company does - We do internet strategy, social media consulting, social media data analysis, rapid viral web response campaigns, social media campaigns and free market political consulting.

Our business is very tech savvy and we're a bunch of new media geeks.

I will follow this contest up with a business card contest. This contest will end at about 8:00 AM Monday morning.

I can think of several projects where I would use something like this because it's HOT. But, unfortunately, this isn't one of them.

Your green is a little too hot and the font is a little heavy on the techy side. The image is "ok", but I think we're looking for something a bit different.

I'm thinking a bit more mellow and organic if that makes sense?

Well, you're not going to get much more organic than this. Here's a concept sketch within the dimensions you specified; if you like it I'll do a final:

Tim,

When I mention organic, I'm more referring to the use an messaging that speaks of "organic grassroots action", such as can be seen with the RootsHQ logo that I linked to above.

I have to ask for clarification, then, because that link depicts two leaves and the words "rootsHQ". In my sketch the S and A are a leaf and branch, reaching out. You asked for less techy, more mellow, so that's what I was shooting for in terms of style and font. I'll be happy to work with you; have you some other example of what you're looking for?

When I say organic, I refer to the idea that the action happens from grassroots. As in, bottom up activism and not top down. A very natural movement of collaboration I guess you could say.

And I'm not married to green and brown. I like some blues as well... but WMT made me put in a color scheme so that was the first choice.

OK, I think I know where you're going now. So let me take a different direction and do a sketch with the bottom up theme. Here's something simple, bottom up vectors braided to resemble a tree. I think that's got organic, process oriented and a little geeky all rolled into one:
