Need a logo and Business Card designed for Intellect Group. The domain is at www.intellectgroup.net . Intellect Group is a newly launched company that include at the moment media company and IT Company.

We will be providing services like Custom Software Solutions, High end networking e.g. Cisco Networks, Windows AD networking, Network Filtering, Firewalls, Security keys etc. At the Media Front we will provide services like Audio and Video Production plus syndicated shows that are going to be picked up by different stations.

The logo should be creative as Intellect Means "thinking power of a mind". Colours are the choice of the Designer. Some of the designs we liked are linked below these can be used as a reference for what we have in mind. The work should be original work of the artist and not copyrighted by someone else.

The Contest Prize is $50.00 US Dollars. We know its not much but at the moment we are strapped here and really need to get the ball rolling.

The logo should have some space left for Corporate Slogan or taglines as we might add it later on.

The Contest will run for 1 week from now, feedback will be provided at the end of every day and at the end we will choose the best design and go forward from there.

I dont mind paying through western union aswell. Please go ahead and design a logo and card, if you are selected you will be paid the way you want provided we recieve the logo and business card first.

sjcoward, are the rest of the designs you posted the same as the first one or they are different because i am having problem viewing them. If they are same, can you delete the additional posts to clean up the topic or pm a mod to do it.

I'm wondering why there arent many takers for this Design? Would the rest of you require more information or something?

Bussines Card will look somewhat like this:
One thing.. the stroke is messed up in this version.. it wont be in the finial version if u buy

and of cours the back wouldnt look like that.. i just through that together real quick

Guys I think you may have missed the concept behind the logo, apologies if I wasn't clear from the start about what I was looking for, the logo has to convey a futuristic look that projects something with a very strong branding coupled with elegant flashy colors.

#Kindly refrain from using basic elements like a brain or a lightbulb instead use

Saffron rings….BigBang effect…Vector splinter effects… combined with a good use of colour. I have put up a rough set of illustrations to give u an idea, what I am looking for is really something with Saturn rings showin a ripple big bang effect with intellect group text framed in between mix and match as you please, even create a 3D effect on the saturn idea….

look below for some ideas that i got my friend to do. You are free to build upon these ideas or use them as reference and come up with something.

looks like your friend was pretty much on the right track - why didn't you ask them to develop on their ideas??

it looks like you want a very professional logo but aren't willing to pay anything like enough. why not hire someone and pay them properly? or pay a decent amount on here for what you're asking for?
ok that's my opinion, and i'm not entering this because
a) it's not worth the money
b) i can't think of anything better than what your friend did.

what kind of business are you that you don't have a proper budget for branding?
especially looking at what services you will be offering...
don't tell me you're too poor, because half the designers on here are too, at least if they only get paid 50 measly bucks for this level of work

also how does it work if a designer uses your friend's idea as a 'reference' then how does your friend feel about this?

I am confused, because you state you want a "strong branding." When I entered into this project, I thought to myself, "What does an 'Intellect Group' convey?" Many of your customers/clients will think the same thing.

I disagree with the circus colors and the magical twisties. You want your customers to remember your logo for the qualities in your company, yet you want too many elements that jumble the communication. "Futuristic, saturn rings, ripple big bang effect(?)." I am assuming you and your associates selected the name "Intellect Group" to mean you a group of intelligent people. Am I correct? I do not believe you are running a planetarium.

Creating another Web 2.0 logo that dissolves into the pool of over done effects and tired logos is not what I do. Granted, my work above is not my best, but for $50 you asked us to design. I do not design mindlessly. Yes, I want to satisfy my client, however, I am a traditionally trained graphic designer and I inject my own creativity and knowledge of what works in the world of visual communication.

I will not design a logo and business card that I know is not effective. And as thus, I am leaving my entry as is.
