I guess thats all we have for the submissions. Thanks to everybody participated in the contest. We had few other submissions from other forums as well.

Whats Next
We will have all the designs submitted post here webcosmoforums.com/contests/6976-400-web-design-contest.html for our website users to vote for.

When we will have an winner
By Sunday, Jan 29, 2009.
We need some time to review all the designs and pick the best one. We might have to modify the design little bit, this 2 days time would allow us get in touch with the designers and discuss issues.

Apologies that this is a bit rough, and a bit late (I just found out about a death in the family, so my focus atm is there, and I'll be gone most of the weekend). However, you were looking for something unique, and I think this tags it. I have used elements of your existing page; I believe this to be necessary so as not to put off your current users. But I think you'll see here a focus on branding and keeping the UI simple, familiar to your current users but integrating your new elements well. It's also easy to render without elaborate graphics. I've tried it without tabs (they tend to be overdone, IMO) but the layout can be converted easily to use them.

Its been a great contest. We did have some great submissions.

Some of the designs are really nice, I had hard time decide which one to go with. Unfortunately there would be one only we can use. After careful analysis with the branding, style, current trend, coding issues etc I have decided to go with #5.

#5 design wins the $400. I will contact the designer for payments and any design changes to be made.

I like to thank all who have participated in the contest. And also thanks the webcosmoForums.com members for sharing thoughts with us.
