Graphic Design Contests

This contest is for a new site we're getting ready to launch call "Tax Revolt Coalition". This is a grassroots effort being put together by various online grassroots organizations to oppose tax increases at all levels of government.

The brand/logo should use a "revolutionary" flavor, and should tell the story of a true grassroots movement to oppose extreme taxation. Kind of like a Citizen Backlash against out of control government.

We want this brand to be edgy and catchy. See the following two examples.

Prefer color scheme to be red, white and black.

Ideas on images to use would be a crowd of people, grassroots type imagry, and of course anything representing citizen revolution.

I would say, google log's and get an idea, because you do no doubtfully can design.
Just give it a shot.

This is a good start, but as mentioned... this is more of a banner image rather than a logo. It's a step in the right direction though.

I would also add that this image is a tad too dark. Maybe lighten it up a bit. :-)

Hmmm what do you mean???

And I am sorry that it is more of a banner image, I am only 14 and only started designing so I am not yet a pro. Would you still like to use it in your website?

Hmm... interesting concept... I will like to add my submissions. I think they are fitting and striking. I like your design Evo'd, but I got the feeling "skateboarding company" when I saw it.

Anyway, I couldn't decide which was best, so I guess I will leave that up to the contest holder. =)

I think a problem with some of the other logos is that at a small size the letters may be hard to read also.
As you can see even at 150x130, the letters are still easy to read, not to mention you don't have to make any change to the logo to place it on a white or black background.
One transparent logo can go on any background.

Thank you contest holder for inspiring me. Even if I don't win I am very happy with the logo and will be adding it to my website portfolio once my website redesign is completed.
