Yes, the end date is August 30th. Today is August 1st.

@Graphics, I would suggest making it a tad smaller (read OP dimensions).

Unique banners only.
I'd refrain from throwing accusations about unless you actually have proof; should that be the case, bring it up to one of us to deal with. If the "offer" you speak of was outside of the contest, such "deals" are not allowed.

You should consider, as well, that contest participants frequently link to a lower resolution image or watermark to protect against content theft. The higher res image is then sent upon receiving payment if the participant wins.

I will ask my friend if he still has the theme we used it in.

It is alright, but not quite what I'm looking for. I need a design that stands out, is easy to read and looks attractive (overall).

comps usually only run for a few days or a week and a bit.

running it for this long means those contributing have to monitor this thread for a long time to see if they have to modify their submissions and it means there may be too many entries - variety is good but having too many to choose from can be difficult and involves a lot of time for those entering the competition.

feedback is also useful to steer the competition so people don't end up wasting valuable time submitting things that are off track, and so you can end up with a banner that you like sooner rather than later.

just don't see the point of opening it for that long as it drags on a bit - better to set an earlier end date and extend it if necessary IMO.
