Tim,

1. Close the mouth down some so the teeth are closer to the bottom lip.
or
2. Add some bottom teeth. (Keeping some gap between top and bottom.

Also, from that profile angle, his left ear(on the right side of the picture) would not be visible or at least not that visible. Plus the top of it if visible would be slightly higher. So close..............

You are much closer to a contender now.....
Your guy needs to look more moronic.....and less posed.

Right now he looks like a recruiting poster for Little League.
Or add a stripe on the circle and he could be a
"Just Say No" poster against Little League.

I'm pretty sure he needs two ears.......
Plus, the whole picture needs some color......
And I don't like the font choices......needs balance.

No other contenders here.....??????

Tim,

Four small changes then this should be your final entry.

The left smaller ear bottom edge should contour down slightly more.
So it lines ends below the eye some.
I think it needs a slight inner lobe line at the top too.

Bring the right eyebrow down some and the left eyebrow up some.
Should the black lines be below the eyebrows?

Add a small Chin Dimple.

Change the shirt color to a more sky blue. Something less bluegreen.

Watermark across that picture so some fool doesn't steal it from you

Kates, I don't know if that one is a Little Leaguer like Doug's saying, looks more like a slacker to me. Which would be perfect if you focused more on the head, and gave him a more gape-mouthed look. Think "Dazed and Confused". Think, "Keanu Reeves is a putz, and it wouldn't take much to make him look more like one...."

On the second drawing, see how it looks changing Morons to Red to Match the Pants. It may be overkill but I think it might look interesting to match blue blue red red.

On the top drawing the blue blue blue seems to fit.......

You might want to check spelling on the word copyrights.
(Said one mild dyslexic to another)

You need to Watermark your second Drawing Kate........

Done. The line was a brow ridge, not forehead lines, but it didn't quite work, so away it went. Made the right ear slightly larger to make visual sense.

Nice work kates! Always an honor to compete with you.

Quite frankly, I don't see any of the changes I have suggested as MINOR.

Especially with Kate's total concept change and my rejection of the Ronald Regan Picture from JayGun.

Tim's face changes were also quite distinct. The mouth change alone was enormous impact on his chances.

Had I shut up and not said anything, None of the three would be in contention.

If YOU or anyone else has the guts to compete, I will make the same types of observations to get you closer to the goal.

I have no favorites here as I don't really don't know anyone here that well.

As my father used to say,
"The world is a Banquet! You can whine or you can Dine!
It's your own **** fault if you starve to death"

This contest was put out 30 days on purpose to give everyone time to draw their best and to make changes if needed.

Two people have what it takes.....the rest of you......well..........

Kill the Gray background for something white tone or beige, I hate Gray.
Put some color on the Company name. Red Blue are my logo colors.
The hair would not be that washed out, in fact it might be redder.

One other change just to drive Outlaws nuts...

Sharpen up the stiffness of the feature lines on the monitor.....
Also double check your angles. The top edge angle is contrary to the angles of the back of the monitor. The top drops opposite the angles on the back.
The top and bottom angles of the monitor lines should be the same.
Thus the top line should go Down to up, not up to down as you currently have it.

All, right, enough. I'm a mod first, a participant second. If I have to bow out to hand out infractions for unprofessional behavior I will do so. That's the end of it.

Wrong. A 3/4 back view would have the lines going in perspective. Trust the lifelong artist on that. Or do an image search if you doubt me. As far as the lines go, I can sharpen them up some, but keep in mind that it's a cartoon, and I cartooned it up to match the face.

Do keep in mind, as well, that especially with all the one-on-one the market rate for what you're asking is about five times what your prize amount is. This IS still a member service, paid or not.
