I need a simple (I hope) logo designed. The client is "ClipMule" and I need a side view of a pack mule with a visible "video reel" sticking out of the pack.

If a full side view of the mule is 90 degrees (camera view), then the mule needs to be turned slightly towards the camera, say around 110 degrees.

The mule should be standing, not walking and it's head should be up.

The logo should be in color with the mule shape clearly defined in black and the color of the fur a light brown. The pack should be also clearly defined in black and colored in brown. The reel should be colored in gray. It does not need to be "photo-realistic", however shaded fur is preferred over a single brown color. It should not be too "cartoonish".

The words "ClipMule" should not be included. Just the mule with the pack and reel.

This needs to be delivered as an EPS or AI file. Or, it needs to be large enough that it can be converted to vector format in Adobe Illustrator.

You can do it in PhotoShop, as long as it's large enough for me to convert it to vector in AI.

Okay, Is the 'pack of mule' is same as 'pack of a donkeys?'
is this a 'clip movie' business?... what kind?

A pack mule is a hybrid of a horse and donkey, bred for pulling and/or carrying heavy loads, hence "pack" being in the name.

I see... but the brief says, the mule should be on a standing position.... uhmmm... I am confused now.

Right, standing still rather than looking like he's walking. He's looking for something between a 3/4 view and a side view. The packs would be slung over his back, and a movie reel of some sort(or several of them) would be sticking out of said packs.

A packmule is a donkey with a "pack" on it. Like you see in the movies with the guy walking with the donkey behind him and it has satchels on each side.

This is one of those things I can see perfectly in my head, but just don't have a clue how to translate that into drawn out design. I may have a go at it later if I'm up for it.

Very nice Jay. Would like to have the mule color lighter. And the film reel to be more visible. And no film strip on the ground, but I like the concept and perhaps just have it hanging out and visible.
