VOX Header - $50

Need a header for vox, made of small license plates like those shown. Little month and year stickers must be added on.

Clean design, nothing bulky or cartoonish.

I would like it to be a collage of plates, do no overlap the text. I will add about 30-50 other text plates to this collage.

The dimensions of the banner image should be no larger than 940 pixels (width) by 200 pixels (height).

Use jpg, png, or gif format for the banners. File sizes should be under 35kb so that they load quickly.

Please post your artwork samples.

To fit the standard header size I'm seeing, which is 940x200, the closest fit tiling plates would be if you made the plates 130px wide by 67px high, 7 plates wide by 3 high, or 21 plates total. Even at the slightly smaller dimensions you have them that's all you'd fit in that banner space. Here's a plate at the slightly larger dimensions:

I want it like a collage of plates, without the words overlapping. Why is it taking so long to get sample posts.

Posting a contest does not guarantee you participants. I'm trying to help you get the ball rolling, but did you even read what I last posted? Your potential participants are going to need clarification on those things so you can get what you want out of this. For instance, does the single plate I posted last look about how you want it to, with the month and year stickers added? Do the dimensions I posted make sense?

What is a VOX header? The only VOX i know makes guitar amps, and I don't get what you are trying to make with license plates.

VOX is a blogging/social networking site. The headers for those sites, from what I can see, are 940px by 200px. She wants the plates tiled like they are in the pic she submitted, with month and year stickers added to each individual plate.

It's probably taking a while because nobody here is 100% clear on what you want done. Can you be more specific on what you envision?

Seriously peeps, I have ran many contests and ALWAYS get entries. I think my description is pretty clear. If anyone goes to vox, you can clearly see the dimensions of every header (they are all the same size).

All I want is a collage of license plates as shown in the examples Ive posted, so I can post it as a VOX header. A nice clean design. Simple.

There isnt much thinking to this one, because Ive already provided the example of plates, and the link to create them. Yes, put little colorful stickers as Month/ Year.

I will provide the text on plates to be entered on plates.

Still nothing? OK, here's one with a few filled in, plus a few blanks. Kept it as 2008, '09 and '10 stickers to keep it authentic:

Or, just the plates, with alternating years and random months (just couldn't resist putting in a few plates, though)

They're staggered just enough to offset the "grid" look a bit.

That's a reasonable request. We do allow contests to be extended, but you need to specify a date. Do keep in mind that the more constructive input you provide, the likelihood increases that you will get out of the contest what you want.

Edit: Hoped I'd get the ball rolling by submitting something, but as it appears my duties as a mod are going to supercede being a participant I'm withdrawing my entry. As it should be.
