Hector has hosted more than one contest before, and has always followed through. He's probably a little busy or the client he is with is busy.

I've contacted hector about both of his contests. He's been a good CH in the past, so I've cut him some slack, but if there's no word by 1/21/10 I'm considering them abandoned.

so it's abandoned then. another fecking waste of time.
i think that competition holders shuold pay by paypal upfront to the mods and then if for a legitimate reason they fold or can't find a winner the money is refunded (minus the small transaction cost). that way comp holders might be a bit more arsed to
a) give feedback
b) keep to a deadline
c) come back
