We are in need of someone to give a fresh face to our website. We realize we are great programmers, but lousy artists. A friend suggested we offer a contest to help find the right design. This pays cash.
We would like to have designers submit to us designs for a new introduction page. We will hire the winning designer to complete the rest of the site.

2) Create only an introduction page that shows off your best abilities that contains the following items:

Take the homepagepal tour
Try it out
Members login
Featured sites (4 sites size 140x100)
Someplace for a flash tutorial.
Site navigation: webmasters, faq, contact, you know the drill...
Feel free to modify any of this as your design skills tell you to. Feel free to throw in words like "Free", or "No spyware", or whatever.
3) Email your design preview to
contact@homepagepal.com with your desired $$$.
Ok this is less a contest and more of a request for a good designs. But either way we pay cash. In the end we need 3 pages. "Intro page" (with a Flash Tutorial like above), "Editor", and "Generic content" page.
We can offer to the winning designer compensation depending on his/her level of interest. Either the contract to complete all 3 pages including the flash tutorial, compensation for just 3 pages without flash, or compensation for just the intro page. We offer these different levels since once we have a good design we can probably fill in the details.
