Brand new company needing a logo. The company name is World Wide Power & Energy. Tagline of "making brighter choices around the world" or something like that... would like to be able to use it with or without a tagline.
We have the idea of an earth with some sort of power lines around it. That's very broad, but hopefully you can run with that. We're also open to other ideas. Same with the colors - we are thinking yellow/green, but will look at others as well.

You are right, I didn't copy it, and yes it does look a little similar (Had to Google it, at first I thought you were talking about BP lol). If they like it though, they have nothing to worry about should they choose my design, as I've seen little granules of flame used in conjunction with logos for a very long time.

I think the British Gas designer was also "inspired" from an earlier, 1960's ad campaign for "Esso Blue paraffin"
