to all designers:
logo must be a vector, not just photoshop brushes... the contest holder should
have flexibility to use it in all his/her media and printing needs, (in hi-resolution and scalability).

I got it from the guy who made it.

It is not a photoshop brush, it's a vector file made in Illustrator. So the contest holder would have the flexibility to use it in all media. It's made up in many layers. He told me I could use it if I ever needed to.

I came across it while going through my stock photo's, and figured it would fit the contest holders needs, as it looks perfect. I create everything myself, but because it looked that fitting.
I never knew he sold it before. My bad, though, should've asked him. I'll remove the entry

Gashu, I see you removed your entry. I saw it this morning and found it a good piece. I might consider it for my upcoming blog.

May I ask what resolution this is?

Btw. before people come up and say I shouldn't buyt it.
If an artist uses a vector made available by someone else, why is that bad? It was made available for that to begin with, so that wouldn't be copywright infringment now would it? Like brushes for instance, they are just plugins for photoshop, nothing more.

If I would look at copywright, the real infringments are made throught the ladies used in this thread. I can see most of them are not drawn, but just edits from normal photographs. These photo's are someone else's property and were not made available for edit.

I don't know who you are referring to by your comment about the real infringements being made through the ladies used in this thread, but the only other two are myself and katesrobyn.

Who says they were not drawn? or even possibly made in a 3D program like Maya then pictured as a 2D still and painted over? I use actual pictures as references, I draw them but completely alter them to the point where they are not even similar anymore, scan it and make it into my logo. Therefore, the person who receives this design product is capable of doing whatever they want with it knowing that the logo is theirs and only theirs with no copyright infringement. I could even post the image I used as a reference just so you could see the obvious differences.

It's 1200x1000 resolution. But that doesn't matter anymore.

Like I said, I got it from the guy who made it (atleast he said he did, I doubt that now though), who told me I could use it for future projects. I never knew it was available for sale, or download, or whatever. Therefore I won't provide it as a logo anymore.

I used the particular concept because I though it wasn't used before, like people who work in the same company, use eachothers projects that never reached the final product.

Now I feel stupid of making such mistake, and feel like it's bad for my reputation. Therefore I'll withdraw myself from this contest.

Please leave the matter for what it is and continue your contest.

And T-Pure, I'll suggest you start your own thread.

Gashu, its no hard feelings brother. Please don't feel like your obligated to withdraw yourself from the contest, if you got a design idea that you think is good, please don't hesitate to make one and submit it. It's always important that the contest holder gets the logo their satisfied with and you never know, that could always be something you designed.

I have been working on a logo design, and will post it whenever I feel like it's finished.

I used the background color of the template you're going to use, so you'd have a better idea of how it would look.
